Sens vs. Leafs and the First Advance Day Vote!
Today is the first advanced poll day!
I spent the day canvassing, and reminding residents that if they are not able to vote on November 13, they do have a chance to vote beforehand. The next advance poll will be on November 4, and I hope all eligible voters will get out and vote. I have said before that the municipal policies affects residents more than any other level of government and it is important to have your voice heard.
This evening I headed to Scotiabank Place to meet hockey fans as they arrived for the Sens versus Leafs game. I was also able to stay and watch the game and canvass the concourse between periods.
What a game it was! I always take extra pleasure in watching the Sens completely dominate over the Leafs and a score of 7 to 2 is quite the beating. Although the Sens had a rough start to the season it looks as though they are back on track.
