Day 116
October 24th
The two Universities
I began the day with a telephone interview on community radio station CKCU discussing light rail transit.
Most of my afternoon was spent prepping for tonight’s debate at the University of Ottawa, although I did manage to squeeze in a meeting before heading to the university. 
I am always interested in what Ottawa’s students have to say about the issues they feel strongly about. Municipal policies affect students, and all residents, more than any other level of government and it was great to see so many students interested in the issues and the election.
I ended the day attending the Ottawa Chamber Music Society Appreciation Dinner at Friday’s Roast Beef House. It was a delicious way to end a busy day.
