“Over the past three years I have been very impressed with Bob Chiarelli's
efforts to respond to the unique needs of our rural areas.

His leadership in launching the amazingly successful Rural Summit in itself
warrants his re-election.

Add to that his:

- Support of the Rural Council;
- Expanding and strengthening the Agriculture & Rural Affairs Standing
Committee; and
- Establishing the Rural Affairs Office

These concrete actions speak volumes in terms of his recognition and support
of our rural communities.

Having had the opportunity to attend a number of the debates I am disturbed
with the two leading alternatives that we have for Mayor.

We have a rookie candidate who simply recalls with nostalgia what once was,
with no plan on how to return us there.

And another blast from the past who is trying to re-write his past. This is
certainly someone who we cannot afford to have as our Mayor in the future.

On November 13th I hope that all voters in general, and specifically rural
Ottawa voters join me in re-electing Bob Chiarelli. “

He has effectively demonstrated the ability to inspire others, make sound balanced decisions and stay true to his word...no easy task in the municipal arena!
